The Story Behind Our Logo

Why the striped fish? The striped fish, known as a pilot fish, is the dentist of the underwater world! Pilot fish are often seen swimming alongside sharks. This provides them protection from predators and also provides a food source. Pilot fish are often seen inside shark’s mouth, “cleaning” the debris off their teeth as a source of nutrition.
The idea for the logo came from one of our awesome patient’s David Holmes. He is a big fan of underwater creatures and brought this fun fact to our attention. We loved it so much and decided to make it our logo!
